Hackers have always looked upon with appreciation.But wait ! did i tell who is the real hacker.
General opinion is someone who breaks in to computers gainintg access to criticalinformation on someone elses PC but letme tell you. This is only a misconception.

The people i mentioned above are technically called crackers. Why should i stress upon them being called crackers and not hackers. hackers are peolpe who sit up and write codes , People who build your softwares are called hackers, what many people would call as just programmers , haclers dont break in to your system. Infact people writing a anti virus solution are hackers.

Its an insult to the community as such when some dumb guy breaking in to a computer and gaining control of it is called a Hacker. Its a disgrace to the community as such .

Now coming to cracking. Its true its always fun :) breaking in to systems as far as u call yourself an ethical hacker andlimit your work to find solution to those flaws you are fine else Prison is fine too.

I see one of my friends has been goin around calling himself a hacker :O . Why does he call himslef a hacker ?.

He managed to break in to the Administrator login in our coll internet lab. It surprised us . It really did and when u find out its a windows server, a wry smile is already breaking into. Butwait iam not starting another debate on Windows Vs Linux .

How do u basically hack oops crack a linux machine ?

Well first thing that many people dont do is set a grub passwd . Incase you are wondering wha a grub is ! its the bootloader jus in case u know MBR inwindows.

So all u have to do is

• reboot the PC wait until the Grub starts loading. and press esc
• Press e It then leads you down to three menus and the second one is the boot option.
• U have to press the e again and when u see somethin like the
  grub>rhgb quiet……. go to the end of that line and type in single and press enter
• and then there u see ur in to the root shell jus type in passwd and there you go u can change the root (admin) passwd.

  Next we move on to the windows ..
  there is only step change the wallpaper often and your system says irecoveravle error.tata. :p

  So guys :P i know this is real basic but somehow i was waiting for my frnd to comeonline she didnt:( so i thought y leave the readers in piece ;)

For the Past few weeks everyone has been asking me to go and see this latest blockbuster from Amir khan…

Rang De Basanti. Sure i have always been a great fan of Amir Khan . But somehow this film didnt do much to me except may be arouse a sense of belongingness . But i still think it showed the youth in poor light.

Violence can never be a solution.Any bad event that you see around yourslef hasnt come up all of a sudden all of us have had a role in making it that way . If our politics is in bad shape its cos the voters havent voted properly .

If the Police dont work well its cos we people try to bribe them when we need to get a job done and we end up on the other side of job we start howling ” Corrupt India” yes if it is corrupt we must also remember “We are corrupt too” In the end u do hear karan say those “ We will become IAS ,Join the army ”

I always felt the film could have been better Oops ! we always feel so .

Well many people have been complaining about memory leaks with mozilla firefox

Byt developers argue it really isnt a bug its just another feature from firefox. According to reports Memory leak is how firefox manages cache in different tabs.
“To improve performance when navigating (studies show that 39% of all page navigations are renavigations to pages visited < 10 pages ago, usually using the back button), Firefox 1.5 implements a Back-Forward cache that retains the rendered document for the last few session history entries. This can be a lot of data. It's a trade-off. What you get out of it is faster performance as you navigate the web.

For those who remain concerned, here's how the feature works. Firefox has a preference browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers which by default is set to -1. When set to this value, Firefox calculates the amount of me"
