Mango Bites :)

I was rushing back to chennai just for a day :)Â . and back to trichy .

In between these 24 hours.I did something very nostalgic.I was a big fan of mangoes and fishes.I remember when i was this kid spending my summer down in my village and sometime indu woudl accompany me . What we would do is get down in to th emiddle of a cannal , that usually flows staright from a hill or eleveation .She woudl spread out her dupatta and immersed under the water and when u actually start feeling heavy u remove them and if luck u cna find some fishes in there .We would then fry it uo using locally available stuff.And next was the ,mangoes,i would usually climb up on this mango tree and indu would be down spreading her dupatta again so as to catc hin all the mangoes that fall for noise would wake up the farm watchman.

And if he does, we had to run quite some distance else, he would take us to the owner:P .

Yesterday while i was having my coffee my eyes fell on those big mangoes hanging quite high on my neighbours tree and indu wanted them.So the arrangements were made,i brought a sickle and a loooooooooong stick.tied them both to make a hook and i was on the wall and down indu with her dupatta.

we had done in many mangoes i think around 15 and then we sat doen to eat. It wasnt just nit and eat ,she has her own ways of making them tasty.

First cut them ,the put salt and spices and then eat it up :) so tasty.Its beensome years since we had done this and bythe time we were done .Both of us couldnt but remember the childhood adventures.

and guess what ? we gave some mangoes to the owner of th emango tree too :) .

eating magoes is fun and eating neigbours is even more!! :)
