Grain worshipping
Posted on 19th July 2006 by TaggyIt was an usual day until the noon .The classes wound up and i was at canteen for my lunch.
Just when i had bought my lunch and sat down to eat,i saw this young gal who came up to sit in front of me . The tiring look on her face told me enough , she was a first year bored of attending all the morning session classes and desperate for the weekend.
While she sat down to eat , she quitely closed her eyes murmered a prayer and then sprinkled the water around her which i guess is prayer for the grains that gods have bestowed ,probably a rayer to thank god for not letting her eb hungry and a thanks to every grain he gave her.
SO wonderful it looked how many of us manage to do that ?
i have never done that although i plan to :) from now on .
