We are friends for life …

Do they really exist ?.so often promises are made and like many other promises .This is one of a life long friendship is broken too leaving wounds to nurse and mixed feeling . what went wrong ?. especially now when most relations that we come across are on the Internet thanks to orkut , myspace and what not ….

Are relationships really exist without any expectations ? .People do expect something in every relation they have .

A number of colloquial terms have been used to describe friendship and the context in which a friendship is fostered. These are briefly described below.

The most important thing about friendship that clearly separates it from other forms of love is communication Mark Vernon

writes in his book “The Philosophy of friendship

Friendship is the most dangerous love of all because the other loves can exist without communication, but friendship is totally based on it.

Especially more so with the advent of social networking sites as mentioned previously , they i would say have taken the zing out of friendships. All that they might help you is getting on with people who might be useful to you or people to whom you might be useful .The chances are sooner than later you might be replaced with someone who is of more utility than the present you .Nothing wrong i would say its just the way friendships have taken shape at least most of the friendships that we see around .It is the need [purpose] to interact that makes them interact and once the need isn’t anymore ,the relationship does tend to hang in balance.

I personally have been a witness to at least three such stories, friendships that promise to just keep going just gets stuck in a rut and after a while it just refuses to move leaving the people involved ,with no other choice but to discard it.

It never takes too much to ruin a friendship just a casual ,taken for granted attitude is good enough :) .

whomsoever told “friendships are for ever ” ,i don’t think so. They exist as long as they are needed to and trashed when they aren’t needed.

yes ,however hard it may be to believe Friendships always have a reason and they rarely seem to exist once the utility is solved especially when it comes to online friendships
