Finding the right host

Getting a website ready is more about finding the right host rather than the design ( which you can easily download from somewhere ) . When we were looking for hosting services for our startup LatentRoutes we looked at MediaTemple which looked great to us except for a cost which didnt want to spend on soon . and the next we looked at was ZnetIndia . Its helluva lot cheaper with 2GB space ,and GBs of bandwidth Cpanel ,parked domains,addons,backup and all the latest softwares and yeah it includes Fantastico too .
We bought that Linux advanced offer and later we realised service was bad to say the least ,mails had to be sent everyday asking for modification and changes and doubts but with time we did realise getting such a hosting service at 2.3K a year is profitable mwe dont expect out site to be hit by sever traffics anyway .

And now they have lots of other feautures too Special Dedicated servers which are definitely great and i think we will hire them for that service too .

And one more ultra cheap hosting service you can find is techstream ,based in trichy its easier to pay ( SBI account transfer does that in a minute ) ICICI and many more.

Its not the best .but if you want to jus host your personal website then i think it suffices .
Its starts with a domain registration
150 bucks for .info and hosting startes with 450rs package .

So my choice would be

* Mediatemple
* Znetindia
* techstream
