Posted on 28th December 2007 by TaggyLife without internet is fun but when you have work to do and your BSNL broadband wont let you ping google.com ,its highly frustrating .
The past week with BSNL is like it :-( .had so much work to do but leave alone code ,i havent been able to check mails at home .
I HATE BSNL ( Yes,iam shouting ) .
posted on December 29th 2007aww taggy! i feel for you and all BSNL users ;/ supposedly they are introducing 8mbps business plans so they are doing some sort of expansion on existing lines. probably due to the overload wierd things are happening.
Use OpenDNS Name servers.
Even BSNL people are suggesting that rather than using their own “Preferred DNS”
It also happening for me in the last more than 20 days. I just called the BSNL officers, they came and said that its problem with my system. I then showed them with different system and lappys then they accepted that its a problem in their DNS server. As far as i have seen its happening only in the ip range starts with 52.xxx.xxx.xxx like that and there is no probs in the other ip ranges. Now i am using OpenDNS and there is no problem except the replacement of Google Search in browsers with the OpenDNS search results :(
BSNL Always SUCKS. Think how they could success with their 8 MbPs connections. I think they are doing silly things with our money !
